Located at 135 Richmond Street, Mare is located in the heart of the North End just steps away from Paul Revere’s House. Mare (Mah’-Ray), the Italian word for sea, offers a coastal Italian menu that echoes the beautiful Amalfi Coast region of Italy.
Boasting Boston’s first all-natural ingredient list, Mare’s menu is based almost entirely on certified organic and sustainable seafood from the U.S. and around the world, including deep water fish and cultivated shellfish. The restaurant prides itself on its philosophy of creating simple yet elegant dishes using ingredients that bring out the natural flavors in its fresh seafood and
all-natural vegetables. Mare also features hand-made, artisan pastas, hormone-free beef and a carefully selected list of wines and beers.
